Sarah Rohleder

Sarah Rohleder is a third-year student at the University of British Columbia majoring in History with a minor in Anthropology. She is a youth advisor and former intern for Senator Marilou McPhedran, a youth coordinator for Reverse the Trend, and is currently a Peace Campaign Intern for the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace (VOW) and the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom Canada (WILPF). She is also a former intern for IPPNWC and is currently working with them on a youth education series. Sarah has travelled to Vienna for the Nuclear Ban week, the first meeting of state parties for the Treaty on the Prohibition of nuclear weapons, and as a youth delegate with Youth for TPNW for their Youth MSP in June 2022. In April 2023 she also attended the ICAN Hiroshima Youth G7 Summit where alongside other youth took an in-depth look at the devastating consequences of nuclear weapons, visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum and where she helped deliver the adopted youth statement.
