Vancouver, British Columbia

Kaitlin Ingram is currently pursuing a degree in Business and Computer Science at the University of British Columbia. In 2023, she was selected to be a member of the Youth Assembly on Digital Rights and Safety where she collaborated with 34 other members across Canada to vocalize solutions related to youth safety online. With the goal of instituting national policy changes, Kaitlin presented her recommendations in a public assembly to the Director General for Human Rights, Freedoms, and Inclusion at Global Affairs Canada. To further advocate for change, Kaitlin produced a short film documentary, Imperfect, to bring awareness to youth mental health challenges caused by unregulated media access. Her podcast, Amend, equips adolescents with tools to safeguard themselves from harmful content online. Kaitlin envisions working with the Canadian Council of Young Feminists to advocate for further transformation of the digital world into a safer, more ethical, and empowering space for future generations.
