Dhara Parsania

Dhara is a second-year student in the Honours Integrated Sciences (iSci) program at McMaster University, concentrating in Biology. Her passion for women’s health, healthcare equity, and youth engagement has led her to champion many causes. Her love for science led her to become a student researcher in the Toxic Allure Lab at McMaster, studying the properties of 18th-century white lead makeup on the women who wore it. Dhara is a member of MP Ruby Sahota’s Brampton North Youth Council and holds executive positions in the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) Youth Council as well as the TRCA Regional Watershed Alliance. Furthermore, she serves as the Director of Human Resources for the Willow Youth Network, an organization dedicated to promoting gender equality throughout Canada.
