Avinashpall Singh

Currently in his 3rd year pursuing a BSc in Psychology at the University of Manitoba, Avinash has had the the privilege of interning for the Office of Senator Marilou McPhedran, where he served as a Youth Liaison and Research Assistant. He is passionate about ethics, human rights, nuclear disarmament, and youth civic engagement. He is a board member at the Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties also was also an organizer of Ethics Across Our Borders, which connected students from around the world to learn about select ethical topics and global issues. In 2021, he co-led the campaign (with Rooj) to have their city endorse the ICAN Cities Appeal. He is also a board member of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War Canada.

Avinash has been supported by many people over the years and is eager to continue pushing for the meaningful inclusion of youth in civil society.
